MOC: China’s retail sales of consumer goods to rise by 10 percent in 2018

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has stated that retail sales of consumer goods in China amounted to RMB 36.6 trillion ($5.69 trillion) in 2017, up 10.2 percent year on year, constituting the 14th consecutive year of double-digit growth. As for 2018, the MOC expects that China’s retail sales of consumer goods to see a year-on-year growth of 10.0 percent.
