MOC: Average steel prices in China edge down slightly last week

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (September 21-27) the overall average finished steel price in China edged down slightly.

In the given week, the average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod, steel channel and hot rolled coil (HRC) all edged down by 0.3 percent week on week.

On September 28, Anhui Province-based Masteel Group raised its offer prices for high-speed wire rod, bar-in-coil and rebar by RMB 10/mt ($1.5/mt).
