China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (May 6-12) average finished steel prices in China fluctuated within a limited range.
In the given week, the average price of steel channel edged down by 0.4 percent, the average price of welded steel pipe edged up by 0.4 percent, while the average prices of rebar and high-speed wire rod remained stable, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China moved up slightly week on week. In particular, the prices of coking coal and anthracite coal rose by 0.5 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively, while the average price of thermal coal remained stable, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China declined slightly week on week.
