China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (May 27-June 2) the overall average finished steel price in China has seen slight declines week on week.
In the given week, average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod, rebar and common medium steel plate edged down by 0.5 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China fluctuated within a limited range. In particular, the prices of anthracite coal remained stable, while coking coal prices edged up by 0.1 percent, and thermal coal edged down by 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China has fluctuated within a limited range week on week.
