China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 19-25) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.4 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of steel channels, hot rolled sheet and hot rolled strip in China rose by 1.3 percent, 1.3 percent, and 1.2 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China moved up by 1.5 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) increased by 1.7 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China rose by 0.3 percent. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal, thermal coal and coking coal increased by 0.1 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.5 percent week on week.
