MOC: Average finished steel price in China up 0.4 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 12-18) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.4 percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of hot rolled sheet, channel, hot dip galvanized (HDG) and hot rolled strip in China increased by 1.5 percent, 1.3 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.5 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China fluctuated slightly. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) increased by 0.9 percent compared to the previous week.

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China declined by 0.1 percent. In particular, the average price of anthracite coal decreased by 0.4 percent, while coking coal and thermal coal prices remained unchanged week on week.
