China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (February 25-March 3 2019) the overall average finished steel price in China rose by 0.3 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, common steel plate and steel channel edged up by 0.5 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China declined by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of both anthracite coal and thermal coal decreased by 0.2 percent, while the price of coking coal moved up by 0.1 percent, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China rose by 1.1 percent week on week.
