China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 24-30) the overall average finished steel price in China rose slightly week on week.
In the given week, the average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and hot rolled steel strip increased by 0.8 percent, 0.8 percent and 0.7 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China moved down slightly. In particular, the prices of coking coal, anthracite coal and thermal coal edged down by 0.3 percent, 0.2 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by a slight margin week on week.
