MOC: Average finished steel price in China remains stable

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (January 21-27 2019) the overall average finished steel price in China remained stable week on week.  

In the given week, average prices of steel channel and high-speed wire rod in China both edged down by 0.1 percent, while the average price of rebar increased by 0.1 percent, respectively, week on week.  

In the week in question, the overall average price of coal in China remained stable week on week. In particular, the price of anthracite coal remained stable, while the price of coking coal edged down by 0.2 percent, though the price of thermal coal rose by 0.4 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged up by 0.4 percent week on week.
