MOC: Average finished steel price in China moves up

On October 21, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (October 13-21) the overall average finished steel price in China rose by 0.5 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod and rebar in China increased by 1.0 percent and 0.9 percent week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 1.1 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 4.3 percent week on week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous week. In particular, the average prices of coking coal and thermal coal rose by 0.5 percent and 0.4 percent respectively, while anthracite coal prices remained stable,all week on week.
