MOC: Average finished steel price in China fluctuates slightly

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (July 22-28) the overall average finished steel price in China fluctuated within a limited range week on week.  

In the given week, the average prices of high-speed wire rod and rebar edged down by 0.1 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, while the average welded steel pipe edged up by 0.1 percent, with the average prices of steel channel and hot rolled steel strip moving on a stable trend, all week on week.

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China declined slightly. In particular, the prices of anthracite coal, coking coal and thermal coal edged down by 0.5 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China declined slightly week on week.
