China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 19-25) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 2.7 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and steel channel in China decreased by 3.2 percent, 3.1 percent and 1.9 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of anthracite coal and thermal coal moved up by 0.6 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, while the price of coking coal decreased by 0.9 percent, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged up by 0.6 percent week on week.
