MOC: Average finished steel price in China declines slightly

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (July 8-14) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased slightly week on week.  

In the given week, the average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar and hot rolled steel strip moved down by 0.3 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.  

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China moved sideways. In particular, the price of coking coal moved on a stable trend, while the price of anthracite coal edged up by 0.2 percent and the price of thermal coal softened by 0.2 percent, all week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased slightly week on week.
