Russian steel mill Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced the recommissioning of its sinter plant No. 4, at which operations were halted in November 2008 due to the decreased demand for steel which had led to production cuts at the plant. All 280 of the plant's workers have returned to their jobs.

MMK is currently operating all three of its sinter plants - No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4.
