MMK-Metiz sees 45.5 percent rise in hardware output in 2010

MMK-Metiz, the hardware producing subsidiary of the Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), has announced that in 2010 it registered a 45.5 percent increase in its hardware output to 450,030 mt.

Accordingly, the increased 2010 output was achieved in almost all MMK-Metiz's hardware products, in particular in welded mesh (up 101.3 percent), stainless steel mesh (up 48.2 percent), strip (up 31.5 percent), wire nails (up 15 percent), and general-purpose wire (up 10.4 percent).

In 2010, MMK-Metiz's hardware product sales went up by 40 percent year on year to 440,000 mt.
