Mexican ferroalloys and manganese producer Minera Autlan saw its net profit in Q4 rise to $21 million from $9.7 million in the same quarter of the year prior.
Minera Autlan said net revenues in Q4 rose 38 percent, year-on-year, to $93 million, on increased ferroalloys sales volumes and increased selling prices for all the products it sells.
While sales volumes for the company’s ferroalloys division rose 8 percent in Q4, year-on-year, to 57,800 mt, sales volumes at its mining segment in the same period fell 30 percent, year-on-year, to 53,300 mt.
Minera Autlan’s EBITDA in Q4 reached $25.7 million, up from $16.1 million in Q4 2016.
As for the full year of 2017, Minera Autlan said net profit surged 954 percent, year-on-year, to $62 million from $5.8 million in 2016.
