Mexico's economic activity up in June

Mexican economic activity in June rose 1.5 percent, year-on-year, but dropped 0.1 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by local statistics agency Inegi.

Government data indicated primary activities in June decreased 4.1 percent, year-on-year, and 5.1 percent, month-on-month.

Inegi said secondary activities in June improved 0.5 percent, year-on-year, and 0.3 percent, month-on-month.

Tertiary activities grew 2.4 percent in June on a year-on-year basis, but remained stable on a month-on-month analysis with zero growth.
