Mexico's AHMSA reaches steel shipment milestone in March

Mexican integrated steelmaker Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA) said Wednesday it has reached a shipment milestone in March.

The company said it shipped 364,000 mt of steel in during the month, surpassing the previous record of 361,000 mt achieved in October 2017. In a single day—March 28—the company shipped 17,158 mt of steel.

In the first four months of the year, AHMSA recorded an average steel shipment of over 360,000 mt per month.
