Mexico opens consultation for steel pipe regulation

Mexico’s economic secretariat, SE, has open a public consultation for Mexico’s PROY-NMX-B-516-CANACERO-2017 steel norm, it said on Wednesday.

The PROY-NMX-B-516-CANACERO-2017 norm sets the requisites for the manufacturing of products with the specification of level NEP 1 and NEP for seamless steel pipe and welded pipe for transportation within the oil and gas industry.

According to SE, the proposed regulation will be under consultation for 60 days, effective on October 4, 2017.
