Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, has opened a public consultation for the proposed PROY-NMX-B-039-CANACERO-2018 regulation. The norm will set the methods to measure the decarburization in both iron and steel products, and replace the 42-year-long NMX-B-039-1977 regulation.

The interested parties will have 60 days to present their commentaries.
