Mexican iron pellet production increases 17 percent in November

Mexican iron pellet production in November rose 17 percent, year-on-year, to 540,884 mt, local statistics agency Inegi said late Friday.

According to government data, Mexican iron pellet output in the accumulated period of January to November improved 0.2 percent, year-on-year.

Mexican iron pellet production in November slightly grew 0.2 percent, month-on-month, from 539,720 mt in October.

Inegi said the local mining and metals production index in November decreased 0.2 percent, month-on-month, and 0.9 percent in the year-on-year analysis.
