Mexican industrial production declines in November

Mexican industrial production in November declined 1.7 percent, year-on-year, local statistics agency Inegi said Friday. Mexican industrial output in November rose 0.8 percent, month-on-month, when compared to October.

Industrial output in the mining segment in November improved 0.9 percent, year-on-year, and 1.2 percent, month-on-month.

Industrial production in the local civil construction segment in November dropped 3.2 percent, year-on-year, but rose 1 percent, month-on-month.

Similarly, industrial output in the manufacturing sector in November fell 2.2 percent, year-on-year, but grew 0.2 percent, month-on-month.
