Mexican industrial output down in March

Mexican industrial production in March dropped 2.6 percent, year-on-year, and 1.3 percent, month-on-month, according to local statistics agency Inegi.

Industrial production in the local mining sector decreased 6.7 percent in March, year-on-year, and 1.5 percent, month-on-month.

Mexican industrial output in the local civil construction sector in March fell 5.8 percent, year-on-year, and 3.4 percent, month-on-month.

Industrial production in the local manufacturing sector in March was 0.7 percent down, year-on-year, but 0.3 percent up, in the month-on-month analysis.
