Mexican economic activity increases in July

Mexican economic activity in July rose 7.7 percent, year-over-year, and 0.5 percent, month-over-month, said on Monday the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi.

Primary activities in July declined 1.1 percent, year-over-year. However, secondary and tertiary activities in July grew 8 percent, and 8.4 percent, both year-over-year.

Inegi said primary, secondary and tertiary activities in July rose 1.9 percent, 1.1 percent, and 0.3 percent, all on a month-over-month basis.
