Mexican economic activity increases in February

Mexican economic activity in February rose 1.1 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by local statistics agency, Inegi.

Primary activities in February increased 9.3 percent, year-on-year, while secondary activities in February dropped 0.9 percent, also on a year-on-year analysis. On the other hand, tertiary activities in February improved 1.7 percent, year-on-year.

In a month-on-month analysis, Mexican economic activity in February grew 0.3 percent. Primary, secondary and tertiary activities in February improved 3.5, 0.3 and 0.1 percent, respectively, all on a month-on-month basis.
