Mexican car output down 14.1 percent in Nov from Oct

In November this year, Mexican car output totaled 36,070 units, decreasing 14.1 percent compared to October this year, and down 1.5 percent compared to the same month last year, according to the Mexican Association of the Automobile Industry (AMIA). In the January-November period, Mexico's car output rose 13.4 percent year on year to 403,059 vehicles.

Meanwhile, in November this year car sales in the Mexican car industry rose 9.7 percent compared to the October level and 10 percent compared to the figure for November last year, amounting to 83,107 units, according to AMIA.

Furthermore, in the January-November period this year, Mexican car sales amounted to 790,190 units, increasing 10.4 percent compared to the same period a year ago.
