Mexican auto production and domestic sales increase in January

Mexican auto production in January rose nearly 10 percent, year-on-year, to 333,677 units, according to local automotive industry association, AMIA.

According to AMIA, Mexican exports of vehicles in January totaled 242,299 units, 4.9 percent up, year-on-year.

Following the same uptrend, Mexican domestic auto sales in January improved 1.8 percent, year-on-year, to 111,212 units.
