It has been reported that the Russian steel and iron ore producer Metalloinvest Holding is currently negotiating an agreement with the world's largest steel mill, Arcelor Mittal, for the supply of approximately nine million metric tons of iron ore over a ten-year period.

In addition, Metalloinvest is also discussing a possible contract for the supply of pellets to US-based company U.S. Steel. The duration of the contact is expected to be five years, during which Metalloinvest will supply about five million metric tons of pellets.
