Metal Management’s facilities granted with ISO 9001:2000

According to recent industry news, US firm Metal Management has announced that its three facilities in Ohio are granted with IS0 9001:2000 standard certificate. This certificate holds great importance for US producers especially who compete in international area. Moreover, President of Metal Management's Ohio and Midwest facilities Frank J. Cozzi, in his statement, emphasized the importance of such certificates in steel and automotive industries. ISO 9000 standart was revised as ISO 9001:2000 standart on December 15, 2000 and since than, the companies were allowed to register to the new certificate by December 15, 2003. Frank J. Cozzi also added that Metal Management is a company which focuses on customer satisfaction and improvement, stating that these features are the criterias stressed in the new certificate.
