Shanghai-based Meishan Steel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Baosteel, has lately carried out a successful hot run test on its hot-dip Al-Zn galvanized production unit, with the result that all units at Meishan Steel's cold rolling plant have entered the hot run test stage.

With a designed annual capacity of 250,000 mt, the output of the new hot-dip Al-Zn galvanized production unit will mainly be used for high-quality household appliances and in the construction industry.
