Mechel Targoviste to raise capital share

Special steel producer Mechel Targoviste, Romanian subsidiary of Russian mining and metals company Mechel, intends to increase its capital share by at least $10.6 million through a cash contribution from the company's shareholders. The money, raised through the capital increase, is to be used for investments in modernization of the equipment and in environment projects. The modernization investment will amount to about $7.3 million while investments into environment projects will be about $3 million.
