Maverick Tube expansion will increase capacity by 50%

Maverick Tube Corporation announced today, May 12, that it has broken ground on a $12 million project to expand capacity of it Precision Tube coiled tubing facility by more than 50%. Precision Tube/SeaCAT’s president Dennis Dunlap said, “This facility expansion will enable us to maintain the superior level of service we provide to our current customers while allowing us to capitalize on the success of our new product development efforts.” Coiled tubing has many practical applications but is most often used by various segments of the energy industry around the world. The expansion at Maverick’s Houston-based Precision Tube facility is expected to be completed by first quarter 2006.
