Masteel eliminates 2.81 million mt of crude steel capacity in 2016

The government of China’s Anhui Province has announced that Anhui-based steel producer Masteel eliminated 2.22 million mt of pig iron capacity and 2.81 million mt of crude steel capacity in 2016. 

So far in 2017, Masteel has eliminated two 500 cubic meter furnaces and one 400 mt converter.
