Maintenance schedule of South Korean Posco

South Korean giant steel maker Pohang Iron and Steel (POSCO) scheduled for maintenance as follows:

Hot Strip Lines
Kwangyang no.3 : October 7-17, 2002
Pohang no.1    : October 28- November 10, 2002

Pickled & Oiled Lines
Kwangyang no.1 : December 9-15, 2002

Cold Rolling Lines
Pohang no.2    : from end February 2003 for 75 days

The estimated loss of POSCO will be approximately 20'000 mts in Q4 of 2002, 90'000 mts in Q1 of 2003, 170'000 mts in Q2 of 2003.
