Logistics costs in China rise by 8.6 percent in January-September

In the first nine months of this year, total logistics costs in China amounted to RMB 9.5 trillion ($1.36 trillion), up 8.6 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In particular, in the given period China’s transportation costs indicated a year-on-year increase of 8.0 percent, with this growth 4.6 percentage points lower than that recorded in September 2017.
