On May 14, Guangxi Province-based Liuzhou Steel announced its latest prices for some flat products. The details are as follows:
1. The prices of medium plate have been increased by RMB 80/mt ($10.4/mt) in Guangdong and Guangxi. As a result, the price of 14-20 mm Q235 common carbon plate is RMB 4,560/mt ($595/mt).
2. HR prices have been raised by RMB 20/mt ($2.6/mt) in Guangdong and Guangxi, and so the price of 5.75 mm Q235 is now RMB 4,250/mt ($554/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 14.
