Liuzhou Steel increases HR prices
SteelOrbis Shanghai On February 26, Guangxi Province-based Guangxi LiuZhou Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. (Liuzhou Steel) adjusted its ex-factory price for HR. The price of medium plate and hot rolled coil increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 5.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,180/mt ($540/mt), while that of 14 mm-20 mm thick medium plate is RMB 4,270/mt ($552/mt). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of February 26, 2007.
