Liuzhou Steel hikes ex-factory flats prices again

On May 17, Guangxi Province-based Liuzhou Steel hiked its ex-factory prices again, following its previous most recent price increase announced on May 14. The details are as follows:

1.The price of medium plate has gone up RMB 40/mt ($5.2/mt). Following the adjustment, the price of 14-20 mm Q235 is RMB 4,600/mt ($599/mt).

2.Shipbuilding plate has been raised RMB 100/mt($13/mt).

In the steel producer's May 14 price hikes, medium plate went up by RMB 80/mt ($10.4/mt), while HR increased by RMB 20/mt ($2.6/mt).

All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 17.
