On April 16, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel released new ex-factory prices for its flat rolled products. All prices remained unchanged compared with previous levels. The details are as follows:
HR:
The new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is still RMB 4,500/mt ($583), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,300/mt ($557).
CR:
The new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC remains at RMB 5,030/mt ($652).
HDG:
The new price of 1.0 mm thick ST012 HDG is RMB 5,560/mt ($720).
Full Hard:
The new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,680/mt ($606).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of April 16, 2007.
