On July 16, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel made downward adjustments to its ex-factory prices for flat products. The details are as follows:
HR:
The HR ex-factory prices have decreased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). As a result, the new price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,950/mt ($522/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,810/mt ($504/mt).
CR:
The producer's CR ex-factory prices have been reduced by RMB 80/mt ($11/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,620/mt ($611/mt).
Full Hard:
The ex-factory prices have decreased RMB 120/mt ($16/mt). Thus, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,230/mt ($560/mt).
HDG:
The ex-factory prices for HDG have been cut by RMB 160/mt ($21/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01 HDG is RMB 4,890/mt ($647/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 16, 2007.
