On June 16, Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel released new ex-factory prices for some products. The details are as follows:
HR:
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 150/mt ($20/mt). As a result, the new price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,030/mt ($529/mt).
CR:
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 60/mt ($8/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,790/mt ($629/mt).
Full Hard:
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 80/mt ($10/mt). Thus, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,450/mt ($584/mt).
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 80/mt ($10/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01 is RMB 5,170/mt ($678/mt).
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). As a result, the new price of 16-25 mm diameter HRB 335 is RMB 3,450/mt ($465/mt).
Round Steel:
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 30/mt ($4/mt). Thus, the new price of 16-28 mm diameter Q235 is RMB 3,575/mt ($469/mt).
Channel Steel:
The ex-factory prices decreased RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 10#a Q235 is RMB 3,560/mt ($467/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of June 16, 2007.
