On April 1, 2007, Hunan Province-based Lianyuan Steel adjusted the ex-factory prices of its products for April. The details are as follows:
The ex-factory price of HR remained unchanged compared to the previous price levels. The new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,500/mt ($582/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,300/mt ($556/mt).
The ex-factory price of CR also remained unchanged. The new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 5,030/mt ($651/mt).
The ex-factory price of <0.35 mm thick HDG increased RMB 250/mt ($32/mt); that of 0.35 mm-0.6 mm thick HDG increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt); while that of 0.6 mm thick HDG remained unchanged. After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST012 HDG is RMB 5,560/mt ($719/mt).
The ex-factory price of full hard increased RMB 170/mt ($22/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC full hard is RMB 4,680/mt ($605/mt).
The above prices all include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of April 1, 2007.
