Kremikovtzi produces cast iron in upgraded BF

According to latest news, cast iron that completely meets modern technological requirements is obtained at Bulgarian steelmaker Kremikovtzi blast furnace no 1 of the three blast furnaces, very recently. According to Kremikovtzi officials, the blast furnace will reach the projected capacity of 2'200 ton per day capacity in a short while, following recent upgrade that provided an automatic system to manage technological processes introduced. The modernization proceedings which will also prevent the emissions of dust and other harmful substances were initiated in November with an investment of over €110 million.
