Kazakhstan's production rises in March

According to the data released by the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the republic's metallurgical industry's output has raised year on year in March 2006. Thus, crude steel output rose 23.5 percent, flat rolled product output rose 90.1 percent and ferroalloys output rose 9.2 percent year on year to 359,442 tons, 196,367 tons and 143,545 tons respectively in March 2006. In addition, in March 2006 the iron ore mining increased 10.6 percent to 1.93 million tons from March 2005.
