Kazakhstan’s crude steel output up 36.6 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period of the current year, Kazakhstan produced 593,700 mt of crude steel, up 36.6 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the January-February period this year increased by 25.4 percent year on year to 370,500 mt.
In the first two months of the current year,

Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production grow by 6.8 percent year on year to 275,700 mt, while it produced 18.928 million mt of coal, inclusive of coal concentrate, down 8.6 percent year on year.
