Kazakhstan’s crude steel output up 17 percent in January-July

In the January-July period of the current year, Kazakhstan produced 2.239 million mt of crude steel, up 17 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the January-July period this year increased by 17.4 percent year on year to 1.460 million mt, while in the same period Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production rise by 1.4 percent year on year to 980,500 mt.
