Kazakhstan’s crude steel output up 15.3% in January-April

In the January-April period of the current year, Kazakhstan produced 1.224 million mt of crude steel, up 15.3 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the January-April period this year increased by 19.1 percent year on year to 804,559 mt, while in the same period Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production rise by 3.9 percent year on year to 557,091 mt.
