According to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, in the January-October period of the current year Kazakhstan produced 3.31 million mt of crude steel, down 19.4 percent year on year.
Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the January-October period of this year decreased by 15.1 percent year on year to 2.184 million mt.
In the first 10 months of 2012, Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production rise by two percent year on year to 1.43 million mt.
