Kazakhstan increases coal production in Jan-Aug

According to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, in the January-August period of the current year Kazakhstan's coal mining output increased by 1.3 percent year on year to 74.571 million mt of coal, including 3.311 million mt of coal concentrate and 71.260 million mt of black coal and lignite.
 
In 2011, Kazakhstan saw its coal production rise by 4.9 percent year on year to 116.343 million mt.
