JSW Steel sees improved crude steel output in January

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, has posted a 55 percent year-on-year increase in crude steel production for January this year, with a total of 1.1 million mt.
 
According to the company's statement, in January JSW Steel produced 835,000 mt of flat rolled products, up 42 percent, while its long rolled product output amounted to 168,000 mt, increasing by 15 percent, both compared to the same month of the previous year.
